We had the pleassure this week in giving my sons primary school 2 telescopes. As they are studying about space this half term. One telescope is for the school so the pupils can get to grips with a telescope them seleves. And the other is for the school to give as a prize for a comp that will be at there descrection to arrange. I was lucky enough to take a couple of my telescopes and binoculas etc to show the years 1 & 2 last week with the massive help from my wife Bev. The children where wonderful and asked all the right questions and had a great knowledge of space and all things up in the heavens etc. Both me and Bev would like to say a massive thankyou for the staff and pupils of years 1 & 2 at Xander's school for there lovely thankyou card and the bottle of wine plus the lovely flowers which are in pride and place in our living room window. Thank you :). Giving is its own reward and is worth doing as and when you are able to do:). Regards Adam |
